October is National Dental Hygiene Month!
ADHA and Wrigley Kick off National Dental Hygiene Month with Enhanced “Daily 4” Campaign
ADHA and the Wrigley Oral Health Care Program (WOHP) are partnering for the eighth straight year to celebrate the contributions that dental hygiene professionals make to the oral health of American families as part of National Dental Hygiene Month (NDHM2017). A cornerstone of NDHM2017 is the “Daily 4” campaign, which provides dental hygienists with tools and resources to help them start a conversation with their patients about the Daily 4. This year, the campaign will extend beyond October into the Spring and will feature spotlights on community grant winners and their service projects, and will provide dental hygienists a comprehensive tool kit with posters, decals and videos, offering them more interactive ways to engage with their patients. Anyone planning community service projects for October may request Orbit sugarfree gum samples at http://www.adha.org/daily4. Hygienists can also connect with ADHA on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, by including the hashtag #NDHM2017 with submissions.
